VENICE CARNIVAL, Italy
Carnival in Venice is one of the most famous celebrations in the world. Every year, thousands of visitors come to the city to enjoy its magical atmosphere. The narrow streets and canals fill with people wearing colourful masks and elegant costumes. Many of these outfits are inspired by the fashion of the 18th century, which gives the city a mysterious and romantic feeling.
During Carnival, you can watch parades, street performances, and traditional dances. One of the most popular events is the “Flight of the Angel,” when a performer descends from the bell tower in St. Mark’s Square. At night, the city becomes even more beautiful with lights, music, and parties in old palaces.
