How much do you know about SALES?
Sales means selling something to someone.
When you sell, you give a product (something you make or have) to a customer (a person who buys).
The customer pays money for the product.
Important Words for Sales:
Customer:
A customer is the person who buys something.
Example: “The customer is buying shoes.”
Product:
A product is the thing you sell.
Example: “Our company sells cars. Cars are the product.”
Price:
The price is the money you need to pay for something.
Example: “The price of the phone is $100.”
Sell:
To sell means to give a product to a customer for money.
Example: “They sell clothes in the store.”
Buy:
To buy means to pay money for something.
Example: “I want to buy a new computer.”
Discount:
A discount means the price is lower. You pay less money.
Example: “This shirt has a 20% discount.”
How Does Sales Work?:
Step 1: The customer wants to buy a product.
Step 2: The customer asks about the price.
Step 3: The customer pays the money to the company.
Step 4: The company sells the product.

Instructions:
Work with a classmate.
One student will play the role of the salesperson.
The other student will play the role of the customer.

Scenario:
The customer wants to buy a product, and the salesperson will help them.
Use the vocabulary learned in class: customer, product, price, sell, buy, discount.
Example Script:
Salesperson: “Hello! How can I help you?”
Customer: “I want to buy a product.”
Salesperson: “What product do you want?”
