ACTIVITY: Ask and answer the following questions in pairs or small groups.
What clothes do you usually wear…?
- for work at the office?
- for home working?
- when you go out at night?
- when you relax at the weekend?
- for a special occasion (eg. a wedding)?
The REMAKE PROJECT was an idea a Canadian artist had. He asked his website followers to remake a famous work of art as a photo. Hundreds of people sent photos and those photos appeared in blogs, newspapers and in a book.
Look at one of the challenges: The Milkmaid.
Could you describe her clothes?
ACTIVITY: You are going to listen to an expert talking about Vermeer and The Milkmaid. Are the following sentences True (T) or False (F)?
Now look at this lady accepting the challenge. What differences and similarities can you see?
